For the third year in a row, we have joined up with the British Fashion Council to offer fashion graduates a fab opportunity and this year it’s even better: As well as offering a design student the chance to create their own collection, we’re also offering a photography student the chance to shoot the campaign!
Students from all over the UK submitted their collections and portfolios which our judging panel of industry insiders, including Anne Tyrell, Chair of the British Fashion Council Colleges Council and Tiffanie Darke, Editor of the Sunday Times Style Magazine, carefully whittled down to 12 finalists. Eight fashion design and four photography students were invited to showcase their collections at our Panel Day to select the lucky winners.
The chosen winners will have a once in a lifetime chance to complete work experience at Warehouse HQ, giving them the opportunity to launch their career in the fashion industry. Check out our sneak peek snaps from the Panel Day and keep checking to see the latest from the competition...
The Panel Day - Behind the scenes
8 design and 4 photography students were shortlisted from 100s of entries to showcase their talent to our prestigious judging panel and the day started off with a buzz with our stylist team and models arriving early.

The designers and photographers began to arrive promptly with their portfolios in hand and the best of their collections they had on offer… Amazing! Their young and individual styles ranged from rock metal chic to luxurious & nostalgic 50’s inspired occasion wear. Pieces were wonderfully embellished, carefully embroidered to precision and wowed the Warehouse press and marketing team. Judge Anne Tyrell, Chair of the British Fashion Council’s Colleges Council, mentioned that candidates with ‘creativity, excellence of design & suitability for Warehouse’ will definitely catch her eye.

The student photographers continued to buzz around the set and get shots of the models, designers and much more. Student photographer Valentina Mutoni, told our Marketing team that her style of photography style was stimulated by ‘eccentric people, colour androgyny and the power to be free and unique’.
