Warehouse teamed up with Jodie Harsh to host her glamorous 25th birthday party at the House of St Barnabas on Wednesday night. Here's the story of the night in the words of Lady Harsh herself...
"25 years is a long time to be fabulous for, so I thought I'd throw a party to celebrate my quarter of a century on the planet. I teamed up with my friends at Warehouse, the high street fashionistas for a post-Brits, pre fashion week soiree to end all soirees.
After toying with themes and venues, I knew I should really base the party on Marie Antoinette's court of Versailles - who else has ever been do decadent, aside from yours truly? I imagined cakes, and plenty of them and these were brought to life by Molly Bakes. I imagined fashionista DJ's providing the soundscape and these came in the shape of Kim Jones, PPQ, Kris di Angelis and the Broken Hearts. I wanted the most colourful crowd in London town and in they poured. Matthew Williamson, Mel Blatt, Jamie Winston and Miquita Oliver danced until their feet bleed glitter and guest of honour - my mother, made friends with a seven foot drag queen, the performance artist Scottee and London's coolest stylist Alexis Knox.
As for the drinks - what a choice! There was Harsh Antoinette and Off With Your Head cocktails provided by Ciroc and the champagne was flowing all night (mainly down my neck). The highlight of the evening was two hunks in trunks presenting me with my birthday cake from Warehouse which bore my face - such a nice touch and I honestly wasn't expecting it. It all became very emotional.
I have the best friends and I had the best night. I have no idea how I'll ever top it.
Thank you Warehouse, Jodie hearts you. xx
