It's the age old fashion dilemma: how to work your personal style into your office look, whilst keeping within the bounds of whatever dress code or unwritten rules there may be. And let's admit it, whilst we all love a good top/skirt combo, it can get a little tired, not to mention running the risk of looking like an office clone.
So with this in mind, we've come to the rescue with a foolproof workwear solution which means you'll never be short of an outfit, but will still look the part. We called upon the lovely Lizanne Harris, fashion director of Stylist Magazine and asked her advice on how to nail the perfect work wardobe without sacrificing any of your fashion credibility.
Her solution? Take our essential textured grey suit and mix and match between the double-breasted jacket, waistcoat, skirt, short and peg and wide-leg trousers. The bang-on-trend shapes of the boyfriend inspired double-breasted jacket and waistcoat, plus the ubiqutious peg trouser and shorts, ensure that whatever your chosen look, it is totally directional and of the moment. Each piece is also far enough on the right side of classic to make them all hard-working investment buys and instant capsule wardrobe favourites.
Look to our gorgeus girls Chloe Sevigny, Olivia Palermo and Amanda Seyfried, all ably demonstrating how versatile and directional these pieces can be. Top marks to Olivia (as usual - go straight to the top of the class Miss!) for those amazing yellow shoes showing how to give grey an added edge.

I love the double breasted jacket with the trousers, very smart especially with the shoes highlighting the whole look.

Brilliant workwear solutions!!! I think more women should see the office as an opportunity to show off their style.

@mammothworkwear, i think the whole suit would look amazing, especially on women with blonde hair, i think the darker colour of the textured suit will strength the colour of blonde hair and i would probably wear these with a nice frilly white blouse. =)
