Ethical fashion; this used to be a contradiction in terms with
colourless hemp sacks being the clothing standard. Thankfully, things are
moving on. Not only are ethically produced clothes becoming downright hot,
consumer attitude is also shifting towards something altogether more selective and
caring. Here, we speak to British
Vogue’s Retail Editor, Emily Zak, about
the future of ethical fashion as well as our newly launched range,
Warehouse Organic.
The High
Street is a key driver when it comes to making fashion more democratic and more
accessible. Improving ethical standards across the board may raise prices
slightly but I think consumers are ultimately willing to spend where this is
offered as an option, especially when it’s as stylish as normal ranges.
I LOVE all of it, such a great idea!!!
